1.) Knowsley Hall, Liverpool
Nestled in the rolling Hills of Merseyside, slightly further out than the city centre, Knowsley Hall stands as a fantastic landmark that has fascinating history. This is a perfect space if you’re looking for something traditional, with a huge range of spectacular rooms on offer for every part of your wedding.
The venue can hold up to 132 guests for a seated meal for your wedding breakfast, and they have a number of smaller packages available if you’re looking for something smaller and more intimate.
Set within sprawling gardens and tranquil parkland, there’s a huge amount of opportunities for stunning photographs to remember your special day. And the terrace outside is perfect if you’re looking to add some live music to your drinks reception to entertain your guests as they enjoy stunning views of the surrounding garden!
Review from Amy & Liam at Knowsley Hall:
BEST WEDDING BAND.
The Pedal Tones absolutely made our wedding evening from start to finish. From booking the band, they were very professional and always kept up communication with us, answering any questions we had promptly. Their sets got everyone on their feet and the dance floor was never empty. When our guest left, everyone mentioned how amazing they were. Thank you for creating the BEST party atmosphere we could only have wished for on our wedding day, I wish we had another reason to book!
2.) A Hard Day’s Night Hotel, Liverpool
This stunning hotel pays the perfect tribute to one of music’s most important bands, being of course The Beatles. Located just steps away from Mathew Street, best known for the historic Cavern Club where the infamous group had their first successes, this is a truly unforgettable venue whether you’re a Beatles fan or not.
The stylish ballroom can accommodate up to 180 guests if you’re planning on a big celebration for your wedding, or the smaller functions rooms can be transformed into a more intimate space to accommodate smaller weddings for whatever you’ve got in mind.
Review from Tommy and Joanne at A Hard Days Night Hotel:
Besides writing the speech, choosing a wedding band is one of the most stressful tasks a groom will be trusted with. I'd wasted hours of works time listening to samples of bands singing uptown funk over and over. I struggled to find one that ticked all the boxes but also within budget.
We then came across Pedal Tones at a bliss show and knew straight away from their live performance they were exactly what we were looking for.
They exceeded expectations. Communication up to the day was excellent, they even learnt a song last minute (and nailed it on the night). By the end of the night they had everyone young and old up and dancing. The band performance was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
Thanks again lads!
3.) Shankly Hotel, Liverpool
Celebrate your love with a touch of the Anfield Spirit at the Shankly Hotel, named after Liverpool’s legendary manager, Bill Shankly. The elegant ballroom can accommodate up to 150 guests, and a variety of smaller rooms can host smaller and more intimate weddings.
However, one of the best features of this venue is the stunning rooftop, with an outside terrace providing panoramic venues of the city. This is the perfect space for holding your drinks reception, and the adjoining room is perfectly laid out for wedding breakfasts, with continuing stunning views with large spacious windows!
This is particularly special as the sun goes down, as your guests will be treated to stunning views across the city at night!
This stunning venue set within Stanley Park combines beautiful victorian architecture with Liverpool heritage and a more modern interior to create the perfect space for your special day.
Only 10 minutes away from the centre of Liverpool, there’s a multitude of different spaces available to create the perfect backdrop for your special day. The outdoor terrace can provide the perfect space to hold your drinks reception in the stunning gardens (weather permitting, of course!) whilst the inside of the conservatory can be turned round multiple times from the ceremony part of your day, to the wedding breakfast, to the perfect space to host your evening, and plenty of space for entertainment, too!
Check out one of our earliest vlogs for a little walk round the venue, and idea of the setup for both the wedding breakfast as well as the later evening sets!
Located between the Catherdrals on Liverpool’s iconic Hope Street, Fredricks can provide the perfect place to host your wedding if you’re looking something that’s truly nestled within the city, with unforgettable hospitality.
The dedicated Pillbox space means you’ve got your own private area for up to 90 seated guests, and with the screens available, you’ve got the perfect hidden away space, as well as your own private bar. The catering is done in house, meaning you’ll enjoy some incredible food (and you can check out the menu before hand in the main area before the day!)
It’s also the perfect space if you’re looking to have a live band to add some music to your wedding, as the venue is a regular live music venue!
So, whether you're looking for a traditional setting, a Beatles-themed venue, or a modern and stylish space, Liverpool has a wedding venue to suit whatever you have in mind for your wedding day.
