With collective decades of experience since founding in 2018, The Pedal Tones were formed with one simple goal - playing great music for happy couples at Weddings. Since then, we've literally played 100s of weddings all across Manchester and the rest of the UK.

We count ourselves lucky as well as honoured to play some incredible venues across Manchester and it's surrounding areas, such as Whitworth Locke, Manchester Hall, Victoria Warehouse, Manchester Science and Industry Musuem, The Stanneylands and Styal Lodge.

Wedding Entertainment and Bands in Manchester
3 PIECE BANDS
Fully self contained, our 3 piece wedding bands are the ideal way to get your reception started. They include all of the PA, lighting and energy you need to get the party started!

This lineup can also swap out the normal drumkit to make it a sound limiter friendly lineup with an electric drumkit. This means we can comply with most noise restrictions at any Manchester venues.
4 PIECE BANDS
Combining mashups, medleys, indie favourites as well as Soul and Motown Classics, our 4 piece bands are the ultimate party option. And with the longer set options of 3 x 40 minutes, the party is spread even longer throughout the night.

FOLK BANDS
Our folk bands offer a slightly different kind of entertainment for your evening's reception. Your favourite Mumford and Sons anthems are mixed in with folk inspired covers of your most loved party hits.

This lineup can also provide one set of the folk lineup and then provide the more electric lineup later on in the evening - the choice is yours.
​
Designed to be sound limiter friendly if needed, this lineup can accomodate almost any Manchester venue.
FREE PLAYLIST SERVICE AND DJ ADD ON
The Pedal Tones were formed with the mission of keeping your dancefloor full all night, with you and your guests singing along to their favourite party hits.
And to save you hiring a DJ separately (knowing how important wedding budgets are!) all of our lineups include a free playlist service, meaning we'll provide background music before we play, in between our sets and finishing up the night at 12 midnight (Later finishes are available, too)
We're experienced hosts, too. We can take care of any annoucements throughout the evening such as the cutting of the cake or annoucing you into your first dance, if you don't have a dedicated Toastmaster or Master of Ceremonies.
Side note: If you've got someone to take care of these things for you - don't worry - they're more than welcome to use our microphones if needed, just let us know in advance!
You also have the option to upgrade the playlist service to a manned service, meaning there's a band member around to take requests from guests all night, as well as keep an eye on the dancefloor. This makes for the ultimate evening package, making it one of the best wedding band packages Manchester has to offer!

We know every Wedding is different, so we can tailor or adapt any of our packages to suit your special day. Just let us know and we'll sort this out when quoting. We've got a wide range of add-ons as mentioned previously, meaning we can expand what we offer into the daytime, too.
Our experience in the industry means we're happy to help and advise with any part of the entertainment booking process. HIRE WEDDING BANDS IN CHESHIRE
When hiring a Wedding Band, it's important to feel confident that they'll play songs that you and your guests will want to dance to. We do our best to keep our repetoire up to date - check it out and make sure we've got your favourite songs covered. There's a huge range of ages to keep happy at a wedding, so we include a mix of pop, indie, soul and motown and rock classics to keep you and your guests happy!
Whilst we dress like an indie rock band - our sets are varied and include songs that all ages will love.
FIRST DANCES AND SPECIAL REQUESTS
We get a lot of requests to play couples' first dances live. This is something we consider an honour, and we love providing the soundtrack for this special moment! We will happily learn your first dance to perform live, as long as it will work with our various lineups for no extra cost.

Really set on the original version of your first dance? Don't worry! We'll get this downloaded and play it through our speakers instead. We can get everyone gathered round you for this special moment, and we commonly kick into a set right after your first dance!

You can send across as many songs as you'd like in advance for the free playlist service in between sets, too. As an added bonus, if we're not playing your first dance live, we're more than happy to learn a special request instead - whether it's a song for you and your family and friends to sing along to one last time at the end of the night, or a must have party song that everyone loves!
Acoustic Duos
Looking to add some live music to the daytime of your wedding, too? We'd love to get involved with our acoustic duos. We love setting the perfect background for your drinks reception or wedding breakfast - and we can provide up to 90 minutes of tunes to serenade you and your guests.

Also included for this part of the day is our free playlist service - meaning we'll take care of the music whenever we're not on stage. Again, you can send us your own pre-selected playlists, or we can use our own tried and tested playlists.
​
If your venue doesn't have an in-built sound system, we're also happy to lend you microphones for the speeches if you choose to book the acoustic duo too. Just let us know and we can get you setup and ready to go after we've finished our sets!

How do I book a Wedding Band in Manchester?
Fill out our contact form and we'll get a quote out to you as soon as possible. Once you're happy with everything - you can follow the steps provided in our online booking portal to get booked in with us.

Please note - you'll need to fill out all the documents in the portal, as well as pay the 20% towards the final booking fee to secure everything - but once this is all sorted, you're booked in!
How much do Wedding bands in Manchester cost?
The date of the event, performance time, different band sizes and travel costs all affect the price of wedding bands. Being based locally to Manchester, we can keep our prices competitive - our 3 piece bands for 2024 start from £1200. We also include discounts for off-peak dates as well as midweek weddings!
What songs do Manchester Wedding Bands perform?
We believe good wedding bands should perform a wide variety of songs to cater to the different ages at weddings, and include genres such as motown, soul, indie, rock, pop as well as some mashups and medleys. Check out our repetoire page for the full picture.
