Top 5 North Wales Wedding Venues

Updated: Oct 18, 2023

North Wales is one of our favourite places to gig, from farms to barns, grand halls and castles! Starting on the east side we have venues like Soughton Hall and Tyn Dwr Hall which boast beautiful untouched countryside. In the west we have places like Bron Eifion where you can see the mountains whilst celebrating your big day. As soon as we turn up in North Wales everyone is ready to party, maybe it’s because it screams festival vibes for the evening. The list below is not sponsored by anyone, it’s just a few that we have played and we want to tell you how amazing they are. There’s a lot of incredible North Wales venues and we’ll definitely have more to tell you about in future posts!

  1. Bron Eifion

Bron Eifion is set in the stunning seaside Criccieth. This luxury, exclusive use, family run wedding venue can host up to 150 guests, accommodation and delicious food. It has 5 acres of well maintained grounds and sea views which will only enhance your day further and have your guests being in awe.

The venue has licences for indoor and outdoor ceremonies meaning that you’ll have the most amazing backdrop for your day, and is the perfect place to add our acoustic duo or a solo musician to add the perfect atmosphere!

The evening reception has plenty of space for a live band for your evening entertainment, everything is predominantly contained in one room which really helps keep those guests on the dancefloor.

We highly recommend viewing this venue for the full effect, you can see their website here where you can get in touch and find out when their next wedding showcase is:

Tyn Dwr Hall has the perfect balance of luxury and outdoor views. The ceremony can be outside or the ballroom with a bell tower to ring in the start to your special day. Whilst the wedding breakfast is in the panoramic garden room that has lots of natural light and beautiful greenery behind for the speeches.

The drinks reception can be in the beautiful grounds where your guests can relax and really reconnect with each other. There’s plenty of space to keep your guests entertained with daytime acoustic music which you can see here:

The venue has exclusive use with accommodation for up to 66 of your guests. Set in the Dee valley in North Wales, Tyn Dwr Hall is a Grade II listed country hall rich with hallmarks of its origins of 1865.

The ceremony room is also the room in which we will perform. The fireplace is the placement for this and provides ample space for a live band to do their thing.

You can get a marquee or tipi to keep your guests safe from the elements. It can really have the high end luxury style or you can go very rustic/festival vibes where your guests will be totally ready to have a party. We’ve had a lot of great gigs here with some of which we’ve blogged, which you can check out below:

It is licensed for civil ceremonies so you can contain your wedding all in one location which saves being concerned with any travel after the I do’s. This means you can have our acoustic act perform all day then go into the marque for a mind blowing party.

With stunning gardens, beautiful scenery and cosy rooms, this is the perfect place for a relaxed celebration for the day and party into the evening in the purpose-built marquee!

This venue does have some noise limits, but this is not a problem for us. We can either bring along our electric kit to provide the full party band experience, or this is the perfect venue for our folk band if you’re looking for something a little different for your evening entertainment!
